No problem, I came across your work on Lifehacker and was really impressed so I tracked you down to deviantart to view the rest of your work. Anyway, will you be planning on doing some designs for android tablets any time in the future?
On a side note, I have taken a recent interest in design(like yours) but have no idea where to start. Any good advice?
Thank you! I don't own a tablet but I'm sure I'll mess around with it when I do get one. I don't really design so much, just change the look of my phone every few days because its easy and fun and mostly because I allow myself to get bored with the same layout fairly quickly. I found there is a rather big community that does this as well and I guess thats how I started puttin screenshots up.
I find selecting the wallpaper first makes all the difference. Once you have that figured everything else sort of flows in and adjusts itself eventually. I do everything on the phone itself, except a little bit of photoshop here and there, and I usually get a setup I'm happy with within 15-20 mins. I wish I could give better advise but I'm mostly just a hobbyist with no intention of getting serious about this, yet.
